One of the most important things we can do in general is introspecting and being intentional about creating.

There is a massive difference in life between actively initiating our lives, designing our lives, carving a path for ourselves, intending what we want to do, what works for us, and making us feel fulfilled and plan our life our way. Introspect about who we are, our needs, and what fulfils us. We can then develop our lives accordingly.

You may have to learn some you know critical things on the route. Maybe it takes you a year and a half to start a business instead of a year, so what? Things will not always go perfectly, but we can carve that path out through our intention and paying attention to who we are. I highly recommend going through the seven areas of life and being like what would I like to see in these areas throughout 2022.

These seven areas are:

  1. Career
  2. Financial
  3. Mental
  4. Emotional
  5. Spiritual
  6. Physical
  7. Relationships
    • You can even split relationships into friends, family, and romantic.
    • The difference between mental-emotional is that many people ask me this mind is like your thoughts, ideas, beliefs, things that you share in the workplace what you learn about these sorts of things.
    • Emotional is like our own relationship to our feelings, our emotions, how we regulate, how we emotionally connect to people and these sorts of things.

So go through those seven areas and look if you want to do an intense dive into strengthening self-identity, it’s about helping you!

It’s like a series of self-inspection questions helping you pull back all the layers to see who you are and the traits you want to create more of or nurture more within the relationship to yourself. For example, determining your needs at a deep level creates a mission and vision for your life and your values.

Please find out your blocks and create a strategy to work through them. Notice and identify your fears.

We may have fears that come up and say, oh, I would like to start a business. But, still, I’m not what we’d like to see for ourselves, not from a place of living or ourselves because of different subconscious fears or past traumatic imprints that are essential.

We must set the goals to ground into actionable steps. But, again, these seem like they’re limiting beliefs because it’s like I don’t know-how, and through print sources, or networking, or all these different things, and you’d write out all these steps that you can think of for you.

Devise an execution plan

You know you put out all these different things and then go through those things and create plans for educating yourself about these things, and once you are educated about each of these steps. So now it’s going to be easy.

For example, you might look at your business plan, engineering the actions supplementing the steps with strategies time boxing them into your life when we can take each of the main goals that we have across the seven areas of life then especially for the bigger ones we need more minor actions and may be able to be like “I’m going to do a morning and evening routine” you don’t necessarily you might be like, “I don’t know how to create a business plan!”

So good, start to research it:

  1. Watch some YouTube videos
  2. Take a course online
  3. Speaking with a mentor or a friend
  4. Networking

Those are your strategies for this step, and then you’re able to say, okay, let me break this down into small chunks and schedule them into my week. So now you have a system that you’ve created for yourself.

Setting goals and then reverse-engineering the steps by supplementing the efforts with timeboxing them into your life.

When we can take each of the main goals that we have across the seven areas of life, especially for the bigger ones, we need smaller ones. We may be like this, and I will do a morning and evening routine. You don’t necessarily need a ton of steps and strategies for that. It might be like setting the alarm every morning, getting up a little earlier, and organising myself.

But with the big goals, when we can break them down, reverse engineer the steps, supplement with strategies and then create an execution plan once we’ve researched and then time blocks that execution plan.

So hence, it’s like okay, business plan research is Monday at 5:00 pm when I get off work, you know Tuesday I research pricing model stuff and then that turns into once you’ve researched about it, you shall start executing.

Okay, now the business plan is no more prolonged research, it’s writing out a business plan on Mondays, and now it’s time boxing on Tuesdays. You know, creating the pricing model, making the website, whatever it might be, it’s you being able to set up those things.

If we don’t have those systems, it can be challenging to act. We can stay stuck and learn helplessness but quickly get ourselves out by creating an outline with strategies and research and execution processes.

Align with your needs

Do things that make you light up, the things that we’re more passionate about, and the more we can bring our needs into what we’re doing, the easier it is to act the more we live a resistance-free life.

Because we enjoy what we’re doing, the easier it is to be productive to maintain productivity and learn on an ongoing basis to keep updating yourself. You’re just more likely to be successful, so try to align with the already essential things.

Build positive emotional associations

Then the last thing is to make actions positively programmed with your subconscious mind. So, we want to program ourselves with a positive feedback system essentially, so when we do something when we finish that business plan, when we spend researching the pricing model, whatever it is, we want to reward ourselves. Hence, we have these internal reward pathways that we’re programming in relationship to self.

Therefore, the more likely we are to show up, the more likely we will feel good, confident, and participate with continued action over time. A high-level principle for that is that the subconscious mind is programmed through repetition plus emotion, so the more we say, the excellent work. For example, I’m now going to go to the beach. This afternoon and enjoyed it for two hours because I completed everything. through all these different things.

I planned on doing, or the more we can even do our work at the beach or in a way that diminishes resistance and rewards us and builds positive emotional associations to what we’re doing, the easier it is to move.
